'MOODS FROM THE OCEAN'
With the sea on 3 sides of Cornwall the moods of the Atlantic Ocean are continuously changing the shoreline.
I took 3 canvasses and from 3 consecutive days in the Spring of 2023 translated the 'life' of the waves onto canvass with acrylics - from the beauty of the angry and powerful 'Ocean deep' - the calming and hypnotic calm a reflective 'Sunset delight' - to the misty refreshing 'Raindance' these are as individual as they are a set

This large artwork is in acrylic, with diamanté , I have' layered the henna work with acrylic so that it can be 'looked through' to the various layers. It depicts how everything on the planet is connected, from the oceans - from the fire - for the ice and earth we all evolve, various circles of life are formed for all living organisms, then the cycle starts again, reaching out, growing and spreading. Everything is connected and will remain so, it is only mans influence that prevents all natural and linked relationships

"JAWAHRA"- From a charity shop to waiting for a new family to adopt her! - Solid wood hand carved rocking horse decorated with my Henna art technique - His name translates from Arabic to 'Jewel' - and he has just over 3,000 diamanté's - each placed individually by hand, the main, forelock and tail are genuine horse hair, metal work is solid brass and the leatherwork also has henna pattern art work.
'JAWAHRA' will certainly be a centre piece and talking point for any decor, he adds personality and joy to a room

'INSPIRING OCEANS' - We all are inspired at various times of our lives and creativity seems to flow, on one of my many walks on the South West Coastal path of Cornwall I had the inspiration to put thoughts down in paint, from shallow rock pools to deep blue seas, our Oceans can reflect and inspire our thoughts at any time from sunshine reflections to cloudy moods - the acrylic in many colours is the flow and currents of the sea - the henna artwork is the many forms of life that observe us secretly from within

As spring approaches we get shafts of gold from morning sun signalling that spring and summer are on the way and trying to break through.
